TFL is one of largest manufacturer and supplier of leather chemicals in the world, organized by Ciba and Stockhausen in Switzerland and Germany. As a subsidiary, Qingdao TFL is the largest leather chemicals manufacturer in Asia-Pacific region.

Since the begining of operation in 1997, Qingdao TFL had been looking for a cost-effective solution that can facilitate the finance control, to balance the stock level and manufacturing requirements. Finally, ACCPAC for Windows integrated with MISys2000 outstanded from a variety of packages.

By this solution, master schedules can be made to meet both production and sales requirement. When the production activity is carried out in MISys2000, the finished goods will be transferred to Inventory Control to fulfill the customers' order.

The inplementation project was started at the end of 1998, and the system went live in April of 1999, "I think it's long and hard way we have gone through, we have to try to change ourself and customize the system,fortunately, we all made it£¬owing to our cooperation with Norming Consultants" Haydon Zhu (Finance Controller) said,"In the begining, some of us don't like the new system, but now, it's one part of our life, we can't do without it"

The system covers all the functional area of the client's business by General Ledger, Accounts Receivable, Accounts Payable, Purchasing, Order Entry, Inventory Controll, Manufacturing and Costing Control.
