Norming Asset Management
have been improved and upgraded by four service
packs, and currently is in the progress of developing to version 4.2.
After launch of verson
4.2, we will use SDK5.0 to migrate it to version
5.0, which is fully compatibel with ACCPAC Advantage Series 5.0.
Listed below is the new functionality in version 4.2:

Setup functionality
Setup functionality
will be enhanced by adding default option forcategory, loation,account set, cost center, group, depreciaiton period,method,etc.,it will speed up the acquisition entry.
- 10 optional fields
are available for asset register.
- Multicurrency functionality
Asset will be maintained
by source currency and functional currency.
- Revaluation for
Multicurrency
Assets At each period end,
the assets can be revalued according to the
specified currency rate, and the exchange gain or loss will be calculated out and post the auto-reversal journal entry to G/L.
- Units or Quantity
maintenance
The Serial Number,
Bar-Coding and Reference information can be maintained for each unit of asset with one asset number.
- Merge and Split
Transactions
The Split Transaction
will split one asset to multiple assets, and re-allocate the book value. Merge Transaction will have multiple assets merged to one asset, with one of existing number or new number.
- Adjustment Transactions
The system will provide
the more adjustment transactions type: Value
Asset, Reduce Value, and Add Value
- Enhancment of Depreciation
Method
Depreciation method
will improved by adding more function and varia-bles, to allow user to define depreciaton formula that will comply
with global statutory requirements,including USA MACRS,Sum-of-the-years'-Digits,etc.
