This Service Pack contains a modified version of Norming Asset
Mangement 4.1. The modification is not a full upgrade or a product
replacement; it is a temporary program fix that is valid only until
we release an update that incorporates these changes.

Improvement Made in Service Pack 4:

1.fixed a minor bug in depreciation method.

2.fixed a minor bug in acquisition invoice.


Improvement Made in Service Pack 3:

1.Immediately validate any input in the fields which can be viewed or”” selected by Finder,if the input is incorrect or does not exist in the current database, the system will prompt with a warning message.

Improvements Made in Service Pack 2:

  1. The Master/Subitems Inquiry interface will display only asset with subitem asset other than all asset ;
  2. The Number field is dispalyed in the default and standard format;
  3. The Date field is displayed in the default and standard format;

Improvement Made in Service Pack 1:

  1. Depreciation Projection Report
    Make the depreciation projection for the specified range of assets,fiscal year and period for future, based on the current depreciation method and book value of the asset.

  2. Depreciation Methods Enhancement
    Make the depreciation method more flexible and powerful by adding more factor and the If-Then-Else logic.

  3. Create G/L Batch options
    In A/M Periodic Processing, create G/L batch by the asset transac-tion type: acquisition, depreciation, adjustment and disposal£®

  4. Clear History
    After the asset is disposed, allow user clear Asset Activities,Posting Journals and remove the asset out of register.

  5. Year End Process Control
    The system will force the Year-End-Processing to be done only once at the end of fiscal year.

  6. Inquiry Optimization
    More inquiry criteria and option are added to faciliate the assetinquiry, and the asset activities can be inquired by transaction type and transaction date.

  7. Logical integrity control between the transaction types
    Make the system not only to follow the GAAP and but to avoid thetransaction conflict in the operation. For example, any disposed asset will be depreciated only once again. The posting of disposal transaction will take the actual book value and accumulated depreciation into calculation.

  8. Workload Update Facility
    Add a workload update interface in the periodic processing, ease the workload update.

  9. Reset batch no.
    Add bacth no. resetting funcationlaity.
