Norming Asset Managements 4.2 Service Pack 8 and Norming Asset Management 5.0 Service Pack made the following improvement:

1. Correct the G/L transaction for depreciation of disposed asset.
   
2. Data Integrity Check facility is available in the System Manager module.
   
3. Allow the disposal transaction to be done prior to the asset import period.
4. Fix a problem in the merge transaction to allow an unlimited number of assets to be merged.
   
5. Add a variable for depreciation formula, CYD, it can be used to calculate out the number of days for current year.
   
6. Improve the license mechanism, the license for MS SQL Server can be applied to Pervasive SQL.
   
7. Last depreciation period must be manually defined for new company database in setup option.
