Thanks to the comments and suggestions from our worldwide partners, we made the following improvements to the Norming Asset Managements 4.2 by service pack 7.

1. Fix the record lock problem with the asset acquisition entry,
   
2. Remove the last maintained date field of asset register,
   
3. Add the following fields to asset register:Retirement Date, the estimated date when asset retires from serviceLast Depreciation Date, the date of last depreciation batch date.
   
4. Add the following variables for the depreciation formula:.BYD, book year depreciation.DPD, days from last depreciation date to transaction session date or disposal date.TLD, total life in days.TYD, tax year depreciation.
   
   BFLD, book first year life in days.
   
   
5. Restrict the G/L account finder to active accounts
